7-Up, also known as "Seven Up" is a brand of Lemon-lime soda, similar to Sprite and (to a much lesser degree) Ginger ale.
As the best-known of the lemon and lime flavored sodas, the term "7-up" has become almost eponymous with lemon-lime sodas in general.
