A variant on the Boilermaker; almost identical to a Flaming Dr. Pepper. Other, non-flaming Boilermakers include the Yellowstone Mudpot, consisting of 4 ounces Vermeer Dutch Chocolate Cream Liqueur® dropped into 18 ounces Stone India Pale Ale®, the J-Town Slammer, etc.

- 18 ounces Sam Adams Utopias®
- 4 ounces Everclear® 190 proof
Directions[]
- Pour utopias into 22 ounce beer mug.
- Fill 4 ounce shot glass with Everclear, hold over beer mug, and ignite.
- Drop shot glass into mug quickly after ignition; slam beer down when shot glass reaches bottom of beer mug.
WARNING: Dropping the shot glass into a beer mug and slamming the beer mug may break the shot glass, causing very sharp, near-invisible glass shards to be mixed in the drink, causing serious or even lethal injury.
