Bramble Cocktail

Added by Maintenance scriptAn alternative to the cosmo, the Bramble was invented in 1984 by Dick Bradsell, England’s cocktail connoisseur, at Fred’s Club in London’s SoHo. The drink is still quite popular in England.
Ingredients

- 50 ml Gordon's gin
- 25 ml fresh lemon juice
- a splash of sugar syrup
- 15 ml crème to mûre (aka Blackberry Liqueur)
- Raspberries and lemon slice for garnish (optional)
Directions

- Shake the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup together
- Pour into whisky glass with ice
- Swirl crème to mûre over the top of the drink in a circular fashion
- Garnish with lemon slice and blackberries (optional)
