Cuba Libre

The Cuba Libre is a highball made of cola, lime, and dark or light rum. This highball is often referred to as a Rum and Coke in places where the lime juice may or may not be included.

Ingredients

• 2 oz dark rum
• cola
• lime or lemon wedge

Directions

1. Pour rum over ice cubes in a highball glass
2. Fill with cola
3. Squeeze lime or lemon wedge into drink and drop into glass
4. Serve with a straw

Alternate Recipe

• Pour light rum over ice
• Fill with cola.
• Garnish with a lime or lemon wedge or slice
• Serve with a straw
