  1. Put the mint in the glass, then the sugar and water
  2. Muddle the mint to extract the flavor
  3. Add the whiskey
  4. Fill up the glass with shaved ice
  5. Stir well
  6. Garnish with two or three fresh sprigs of mint
  7. Serve
